Region 9 –January 2008 Minutes

 

Region 9 held its monthly meeting on January 16, 2008 at 7:00PM with Region Director Russ Shetley presiding.

 

Clubs in Attendance:

 

·         Bull Run

·         Ebb Tide

·         OBC

·         Happy Hookers

·         Riverbend

·         Woodbridge

 

 

General Business:

 

·         Region 9 has a new Youth Director. Congratulations to Bob Sizemore.

·         Discussion concerning getting help at all State Tournaments and events that Region 9 sponsors due to the terrible response by Clubs last year. Motion on the floor “Each Region 9 Club must have one member present at each Region 9 Event to include all State Tournaments that Region 9 sponsers”. Remaining 2008 Events: Fredericksburg Show – Feb 8,9,10; Locust Shade Park Youth Event – June; St Jude Tournament – July; 20 Man Fall Classic – October; Optional event – Blowing AFB – May 4th. Motion by John reid, Seconded by Bobby Williams. Motion Carried.
