Region 9 -July 2007 Minutes

 

Region 9 held its monthly meeting on July 11, 2007 at 7:00PM with Region Director Russ Shetley presiding.

General Business:

 

  • CAST for Kids – Butch Sickler gave a short presentation for CAST for Kids tournament to be held September 8th at Leesylvania State Park. He needs assistance with bass boats and valets. Contact Butch at 703-286-4557 or castforkidsva@aol.com .

 

Tournament News:

 

  • The St. Judes tournament raised $ 4,316.60 and Big Fish paid $ 880.
  • There are several new “No Wake” areas on the river. Be careful this week-end.
  • Region 9 has purchased new weight in bags and they will be the only bags allowed for weigh-ins starting this week-end.
