Region 9 – March 2006 Minutes

Region 9 held its March meeting on March 16, 2006 at 7:30PM with Region Director Russ Shetley presiding.

Clubs in Attendance:

· All Star

· Bad news

· Bull Run

· Ebb Tide

· Fountain Head

· Mid Atlantic

· Riverbend

· Waterdawgs

· Woodbridge

General Business:

• Region 9 is in need of a Youth Coordinator
• The Migration from BASS to TBF, Virginia lost 800-900 members
• Region 9 was next to last for Raffle Ticket Sales
• The State needs a Conservation Director
• Payouts for State Team Tournaments will be 75%
• The Region 7 proposed by-law change for the VA President was not approved
• The Virginia TBF has 1203 members in 101 Teams

Tournament News:

• Bobby Williams is the new Region 9 Tournament Director
• A Motion by Waterdawgs and seconded by Mid Atlantic to “Do away with Polygraphs at all Tournaments. Motion Carried. The $ 8.00 will now be used for other Region 9 expenses (Trophies, unexpected expenses, etc…)
