Region 9 –January 2010 Minutes

 

Region 9 held its monthly meeting on January 20, 2010 at 7:00PM with Region Director Russ Shetley presiding.

 

Clubs in Attendance:

 

·         Bull Run

·         Ebb Tide

·         Woodbridge

 

 

General Business:

 

·         A motion to do away with the Boat Raffle at the State level was passed. In its place, the Federation will hold 2 raffles per year with a limit of 2500 tickets. Each ticket will sell for $5.00. First Prize will be a $ 2,500 VISA CARD, 2nd Place will be a $ 1,500 VISA CARD, 3rd Prize will be a $ 500 VISA CARD.

 

Tournament News:

 

 

·         *** New Boat Insurance Rule – All boat owners must have a minimum of $ 300,000 Liability on their boat Starting for the 2010 Season. This is to make sure all boat owners are in line with the FLW requirements.

·         Last Chance Tournament – There will be a Last Chance Tournament held this year and 2 contestants will quality for the State Team. The entry fee will be $ 75.00.
